 Ana Curtin, MS, CCC-SLP

Ana Curtin brings more than 20 years of experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist to SPEAK. She founded SPEAK in 2002 to offer a highly specialized, and relationship-based option for families. She has received ASHA's ACE Award for volume and excellence of continuing education many times and mentors many professionals.  Ms. Ana is most notable for being the first PROMPT-CERTIFIED therapist in Maryland in 2004.  Her expertise in the areas of APRAXIA, MOTOR SPEECH disorders, OROFACIAL MYOLOGY, FEEDING, and TONGUE TIES is unique and elite.  She has served as the oral motor specialist for Loyola’s graduate clinic, been a consultant to special school programs, and serves as a featured speaker at local and international workshops like those offered through Talk Tools and MSLHA.​ As a result of her cutting-edge approaches and mastery with sophisticated techniques, SPEAK has been recommended countless times by pediatricians and other therapists to work with their most complex cases.  Ms. Ana believes collaborating with caregivers, the medical team, and educational communities leads to the best outcomes.​Ana lives in Annapolis with her husband and kids. She is a big Penn State fan who enjoys yoga, visiting family and collecting all of the world's greatest toys!

 Judy Hanlon, MA, CCC-SLP

Judy has been practicing since 1998 in early intervention programs and private practice settings. She has experience treating pediatric feeding disorders, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, and fluency disorders. Judy loves working with families and helping them find new ways to improve their child’s communication skills using their favorite activities and books. Judy received PROMPT CERTIFICATION in 2019 proving her skill in assessing and treating MOTOR SPEECH impairments including APRAXIA of speech with a dynamic, evidence-based approach.  Her passion for working with GESTALT LANGUAGE LEARNERS led her to complete multiple courses in Natural Language Acquisition. She SPEAKS CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH as a result of living in South America for over five years.  Judy received an ACE AWARD for continuing education from ASHA in recognition of her exceptional commitment to lifelong learning.  She has benefited from collaborating with occupational therapists and physical therapists.​Judy lives in Severna Park, MD. She enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and two teenage sons, reading with her two cats in her lap, listening to podcasts, and trying new recipes.
